| Abstract: | Досліджено сучасний стан та перспективи вдосконалення державної політики у сфері запобігання домашньому насильству. Встановлено, що сучасний стан нормативно-правового забезпечення державної політики у сфері боротьби з домашнім насильством можна вважати задовільним та таким, що відповідає Конвенції Ради Європи про запобігання насильству стосовно жінок і домашньому насильству та боротьби з цими явищами від 11 травня 2011 року (Стамбульській конвенції). Водночас, із метою вдосконалення державної політики у сфері боротьби з домашнім насильством, запропоновано окремі заходи загальносоціального рівня. |
| Description: | The article deals with current state and prospects for improving national policy in domestic violence prevention. The author has found that the current state of legal support of national policy in combating domestic violence can be considered satisfactory and consistent with the Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence of 11 May 2011 (Istanbul Convention). At the same time, in order to improve the national policy in the field of combating domestic violence, some measures of general social level have been proposed. It has been proved that the current state of regulatory and legal support of state policy in the field of combating domestic violence can rightly be considered satisfactory, if, of course, do not take into account the controversial nature of some of its provisions. However, the current state and trends of domestic violence are not optimal. In order to prevent domestic violence, there is an objective need to introduce certain measures at the general social level. Such measures include eliminating unemployment, raising the minimum wage, banning gambling, ending Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, restoring funding for psychiatric hospitals, promoting a healthy lifestyle, increasing control over the correction and re-socialization of convicts, and abolition of court fees when considering cases of administrative offenses under Art. 173-2 of the Code of Ukraine of Administrative Offenses, and the application of penalties in the form of fines only in cases of their commission by persons with I or II disability group and/or pregnant women. |
