| dc.description | entation of the legal framework for the protection of intellectual property rights in Ukraine. Intellectual property is a legal term for the creations of mind and intellectual property rights are the rights provided by law for the exclusive use of creations of the mind. Examples of intellectual property include music, literature, and other artistic works; discoveries and inventions; and words, phrases, symbols, and designs. Examples of intellectual property rights include trademark, copyright and patent. Every inventor has the right to monopolies’ their invention and ensures no one else duplicates it for monetary gains. As such, they need to protect their creations by registering patents, copyrights, trademarks and/or industrial designs. The article conducted a study of the modern realities of Ukraine in the protection and registration of intellectual property rights. On the basis of statistical data, conclusions are drawn and proposals for ensuring the protection of authors are formulated. It has been determined that intellectual property rights is prerequisite for better identification, planning, commercialization, rendering, and thereby protection of invention or creativity. In particular, it is proposed to: increase patent activity and commercialization of intellectual property, namely: optimize payment of remuneration; at the state level, create favorable conditions for applicants (digital depository); to improve the legal protection of inventors and liability for infringement. Therefore, the management of intellectual property and intellectual property rights is a multidimensional task and calls for many different actions and strategies which need to be aligned with national laws and international treaties and practices. Different forms of intellectual property rights demand different treatment, handling, planning, and strategies and engagement of persons with different domain knowledge such as science. | uk_UA |

Зокрема, узагальнено досвід провідних країн щодо створення правової бази та відповідних інституцій визнання та захисту інтелектуальної власності. Визначено основні об’єкти та суб’єкти інтелектуальної власності. Розкрито зміст правового захисту інтелектуальної власності в Україні на основі чинної нормативної бази та міжнародних актів. Досліджено діяльність Укрпатенту щодо реєстрації прав інтелектуальної власності. За результатами здійсненого дослідження сформульовано пропозиції щодо подальшої державної підтримки та забезпечення інтелектуальних прав авторів. | uk_UA |
