| dc.description | The essence and system of forensic characterization of fraud in the field of using bank electronic payments were studied. Modern technologies of the 21st century permeate almost all spheres of our life. The total digitization of society contributes to the active development of modern types of fraud, and, in particular, fraud in the field of bank electronic payments, both in Ukraine and around the world. The concept of the researched scientific category is formulated as an information model of a group of illegal acts of a certain category, which has pronounced components with permanent correlations that can be used at any stage of the investigation. Forensic characteristics of defined illegal acts include the following elements: the method of committing fraud, the circumstances of the commission of the criminal offense, the trace pattern, the identity of the fraudster and the identity of the victim. The identified elements are interrelated and are characterized by a clear search direction, which, in turn, ensures the most optimal use of them in the proving process. In general, a study of the forensic characteristics of fraud in the field of bank electronic payments is required for a better and faster investigation. Thus, due to the separation of its components, there is an opportunity to build forensic versions at various stages of criminal proceedings. In addition, the filling of individual elements gives appropriate advantages to the authorized person (investigator, inquirer, prosecutor) during certain investigative (search) and covert investigative (search) actions. It should be noted that the quality and effectiveness of the disclosure of illegal acts in the field of banking electronic payments directly depends on the professional level of the IT specialist, the availability of advanced technologies in law enforcement agencies and the speed of response to the actions of cybercriminals. | uk_UA |

Тотальна діджиталізація суспільства сприяє активному розвитку сучасних видів шахрайства, і зокрема шахрайства у сфері банківських електронних платежів як в Україні, так і в усьому світі.
