dc.description	The article analyzes the legal basis and practice of implementing the provisions of domestic legislation and the legislation of some foreign countries on the grounds and procedures of compulsory alienation of land for public needs or for reasons of public necessity and highlights the possibility of its implementation in Ukraine. As a result of the research, it has been found that in Ukraine there are no clear procedural rules for preparation, decision-making on redemption and forced alienation of land plots. Existing legislation defines the right of public authorities or local governments in general provisions, which can lead to significant losses, especially from the future alienation of agricultural land; There are several problematic aspects of the assessment of compensation in the current legal provisions on redemption and compulsory alienation of land plots, namely: unregulated norms on determining the value of land plots and real estate, losses caused to their owners in case of compulsory alienation; lack of clear definition of the subjects of compensation assessment, uncertainty of the mechanisms of planning and allocation of funds necessary for the purchase or reimbursement of the value of expropriated land plots; provisions for determining compensation based only on the market value of land creates significant problems in our country, as the land market is in its infancy, and the procedure and procedures for buying and selling privately owned agricultural land still requires significant regulatory approval, although even for non-agricultural land economic purposes, which are the object of sale, it is not always possible to determine the market value due to the imperfection of the land market, which prevents the establishment of a satisfactory level of compensation. Based on the analysis of the procedure of land acquisition for public needs and on the grounds of public necessity in other countries, it can be concluded that during the alienation of land there should be fair monetary compensation and compensation. To ensure the achievement of this goal, it is necessary to adopt the Law «On Determining the Amount of Damages to Landowners in Withdrawal (Redemption) of Land Plots for Public Needs or for Public Needs». The drafting of this law should take into account Sweden's experience of an increased 25 % rate of expropriated property from the assessment of its market value, as the amount of compensation for inconvenience and certain moral damage to the owner, to reduce the number of lawsuits for foreclosure.	uk_UA
