| Короткий огляд (реферат): | У статті досліджено соціально-культурні аспекти забезпечення розуміння розподілу соціального призначення та соціально-культурних відмінностей визначень понять «гендер» та «стать». Розглянуто основні культурні, соціальні та економічні чинники формування в суспільстві розумінь гендерних відносин. Встановлено найважливіші характеристики гендеру та статі, що допомагає орієнтуватися під час аналітичних досліджень у процесах вивчення відтворення гендерної дихотомії та, як наслідок, запобігання гендерного насильства. Надається характеристика важливих складових концепту «гендер». За результатами дослідження проведено ретроспективний аналіз щодо гендеру як фундаментального фактору розуміння змін соціально-культурних ролей жінки та чоловіка, що відбуваються у контексті новітнього сучасного суспільства. Запропоновано пропозиції щодо подолання постійного відтворення гендерної дихотомії у суспільстві та формування суспільства, яке відповідає вимогам нормам гендерної недискримінації. |
| Опис: | The article examines the socio-cultural aspects of providing an understanding of the distribution of social purpose and sociocultural differences in the definitions of «gender» and «sex». The main cultural, social and economic factors of formation of understandings of gender relations in the society are considered. The research identifies the most important characteristics of gender and gender identities, which helps to orientate during analytical research in the processes of studying the reproduction of the gender dichotomy and, as a consequence, the prevention of gender-based violence. The characteristics of important components of the concept of «gender» are given. According to the results of the study, a retrospective analysis of gender as a fundamental factor in understanding the changes in socio-cultural roles of women and men that occur in the context of modern society. The study proposes some ideas for overcoming the constant reproduction of the gender dichotomy in society and the formation of a society that meets the requirements of gender non-discrimination. The article articulates that the formation of gender identity is under influence by various factors. One or another theory of the constitution of gender identity developed in close interaction and enrichment with the social ideas, elements, scientific concepts and discoveries that gave rise to these theories. The work shows that the modern understanding of the essence of gender identity has a rich and complex history and has its roots in many teachings and concepts. Historically, conflict theory and functionalist theory have explained gender at the macroanalysis level. Since then, these theories have undergone many transformations. Functionalism sought to understand how all parts of society (such social institutions as the family, education, etc.) form a coherent system of society. According to this theoretical paradigm, parts of society seek to complement each other to create social stability. |
