| Короткий огляд (реферат): | Здійснено аналіз низки наукових праць та чинного законодавства з метою визначення поняття та сутності міжнародного поліцейського співробітництва у боротьбі з фінансовими правопорушеннями. Міжнародне співробітництво є основою ефективної боротьби з фінансовими правопорушеннями, оскільки міжнародна співпраця саме у цій сфері охоплює співпрацю в оперативній діяльності органів фінансової розвідки й правоохоронних органів та співпрацю у покаранні за відмивання грошей. Також виокремлено низку міжнародних організацій, що сприяють проведенню комплексних фінансових розслідувань, зокрема Інтерпол, Європол, Євроюст, Ініціатива StAR Світового банку, Камденська міжвідомча мережа з питань повернення активів, Міжнародний центр боротьби з корупцією. |
| Опис: | The article examines aspects of international police cooperation in the fight against financial crime. In particular, an analysis of a number of scientific papers and current legislation was conducted in order to define the concept of international police cooperation. It is proposed to understand this concept as regular purposeful and coordinated joint activities of participants in international public relations, carried out on the basis of generally accepted principles and norms of international law and aimed at reconciling their interests to achieve common goals. International cooperation is the basis for an effective fight against financial offenses, as international cooperation in this area should include both cooperation in the operational activities of financial intelligence and law enforcement agencies, and cooperation in punishing money laundering. There are a number of international organizations that assist in conducting comprehensive financial investigations, including Interpol, an organization that searches for a specific object, a person, facilitates the search for the police; Europol is an information and coordination agency designed to ensure the cooperation of the police forces of the Member States of the European Union in the fight against crime; Eurojust is the European agency that promotes and coordinates investigations and prosecutions between the competent authorities in the Member States; The World Bank’s StAR initiative is a partnership initiative that supports international efforts to end the practice of concealing assets derived from corruption offenses; The Camden Interdepartmental Asset Recovery Network is an informal network of law enforcement and judicial practitioners, specialists in asset detection and tracing, freezing, arresting and confiscating; The International Center for Combating Corruption brings together law enforcement professionals from around the world to investigate allegations of high-level corruption. |
