| Abstract: | Застосування ефективного підходу під час роботи правоохоронної системи України є дуже важливим фактором, що прямо впливає на розповсюдженість та поширеність злочинності в державі. Для обрання раціонального методу боротьби з проявами неповаги до суспільства покликані наукові дослідження. Під час написання статті було використано такі методи дослідження: опис, аналіз, синтез, порівняння. Матеріалом для дослідження стали зарубіжні та вітчизняні наукові роботи (статті, журнали та публікації за напрямом дослідження даної тематики). |
| Description: | The main problem of modern crime is the psychological attitude of Ukrainian society to socially dangerous actions. In other words, people are not very concerned about the state of the environment. Ukrainians, constantly seeing manifestations of disrespect for society on the part of others (regardless of whether it is a piece of paper thrown away near a store or an unpaid trip in a vehicle), program themselves in advance, realizing that this is a normal phenomenon. The application of the theory of «Broken Windows» on the territory of the Ukrainian state, the system of law enforcement agencies is very promising. After all, the main feature of this model of combating and preventing crime: the criminogenic situation in a particular administrative-territorial unit depends on the total number of minor offenses. The application of the SARO model (scanning, analysis, response and assessment) in the realities of Ukraine is an important step in the reform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the field of crime prevention. Close cooperation between the state and the authorities and the community brings only positive phenomena: cleanliness in the settlement, reduction of criminal offenses, optimization of the police functioning. The implementation of the proposed concepts should involve a preliminary qualitative study of all aspects of this approach. We believe that these developments require their practical implementation at the regional level. In general, the theory of «Broken Windows» looks very promising, because its introduction into the Ukrainian police system will help revive the activities of individual units and activate all units of preventive orientation. Also, this approach can be a qualitative basis for inventing a more advanced algorithm of actions, which will be the basis for the activities of the patrol police of Ukraine and other special units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.The theory of «broken windows» is an effective factor in preventing crime. Therefore, a competent study of this theory can lead to large-scale changes in the spiritual and value component of Ukrainian society. |
