| Abstract: | У статті розкрито роль системного підходу в сучасних регіональних дослідженнях, його сутність та особливості прояву в сучасних умовах. Досліджено основні засади системної організації регіону. Вивчено історичні засади формування визначення «системи», еволюцію теорії систем та досліджено різні варіанти визначень регіональної системи. Систематизовано підходи до визначення регіональна система. Доведено, що специфіка визначення сутності поняття «регіональна соціально-економічна система» полягає в однорідності розглянутих понять система та соціально-економічна система. Здійснено групування визначень поняття «регіональна система» з точки зору різних авторів. Надано власне визначення регіональної соціально-економічної системи. Автором обґрунтовано, що саме системний підхід дозволяє враховувати сучасні тенденції розвитку регіонів. |
| Description: | The article is devoted to the study of the regional socio-economic system as a category of economic research. The necessity of conceptual change of research tasks concerning the place and role of regions in the domestic economy is substantiated. It is established that the study of regional socio-economic systems is especially relevant in the conditions of increasing inter-regional disparities, complication of the external environment of their functioning, including, due to the influence of activation of integration processes and globalization. The role of systematic approach in contemporary regional studies, its essence and features of manifestation in modern conditions are revealed in the article. The basic principles of system organization of the region are investigated. Historical bases of formation of definition of "system", evolution of system theory are studied and various variants of definitions of regional system are investigated. It is established that defining the system as the basic one has to take the greatest account of the specific complexity of the regional economic system, in which an extremely large number of parts and various forms, ways of their interaction. Approaches to defining the regional system are systematized. It is proved that the specificity of defining the essence of the concept of "regional socio-economic system" lies in the homogeneity of the concepts considered system and socio-economic system. Grouping of definitions of the concept of "regional system" is carried out from the point of view of different authors. It is established that the regional socio-economic system of any hierarchical level in its position is marked by a certain duality of development. This is the basis for the functioning of any socio-economic system, and is reflected in the combination of subjective and objective system-forming factors. The author substantiates that systematic approach allows taking into account current trends in the development of regions. Author’s own definition of the regional socio-economic system was provided. It is proved that the peculiarities of the existence of a regional socio-economic system are manifested in the processes of its functioning and development, and its essence is determined, on the one hand, by the nature of its subsystems and elements, and, on the other, by their structure. |
